Radiant Floor Heating

Many radiant floor applications use brazed plate heat exchangers to reduce overall installed costs of the radiant floor system.  Also our brazed plate heat exchangers make possible system designs that are not possible otherwise.

To select the appropriate heat exchanger for your radiant floor application is simple:

  • Download the product catalog at the bottom of this page and follow the process laid out
  • Go to www.flatplateselect.com for our free easy-to-use selection software. No download-and-install required.

Using Cast-Iron Boilers

This is possible when using cast-iron boilers and radiant tubing (with lower cost and no oxygen barrier), and for applications where isolation fo the boiler ro radiant floor loops are needed.  This simplifies the installation and minimizes the cost.

Using Steam Boilers

Our models also make it possible to interface steam boilers to radiant floor systems, both low pressure and high pressure steam systems (up to 300 psi) using the MPN model.

Using Hot Water Heaters

Another strong application is using a domestic hot water heater to provide heat to a radiant floor systems bathroom radiant floor, or for add-on projects.  this is easily accomplished using our brazed plate heat exchanger to isolate the domestic water from the radiant floor loop.
