GEA Ecoflex GmbH is spun off from GEA Ahlborn

GEA acquires Swedish TAU Energy Products and GEA Ecobraze

Established GEA Ecoflex (Asia) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia

Established GEA PHE Systems Asia Pacific in Singapore

Acquisition of the fully welded plate heat exchanger division of Balcke-Dürr Service GmbH

Move to the new company premises in Sarstedt with new administration and production buildings

Acquisition of Wilchwitzer Thermo-Technik GmbH (WTT), which becomes GEA WTT GmbH

GEA Ecoflex India Pvt. Ltd. was established

GEA Ecoflex China Co., Ltd. was established

Acquisition of FlatPlate Inc. (York, PA), the leading manufacturer of brazed plate heat exchangers in the USA, and of Hydroweld in Ystad / Sweden and its 30,000 tons press for gasketed plate heat exchangers

Acquisition of WCR Germany, Netherlands and Belgium, the leading After Sales & Service provider within Europe for all makes of gasketed plate heat exchangers, which becomes GEA EcoServe

GEA Ecoflex Middle East FZE was established

GEA PHE Systems North America in York starts production in the world's most modern facility for plate heat exchanger production
2008
Acquisition of ViEX Inc. (Newmarket, Ontario, Canada), manufacturer of fully welded plate heat exchangers

Change partnership with KOSMG Co. Ltd. and registered it's new name KOS-GEA Korea Ltd.

The heat exchanger business in a new segment name, GEA Heat Exchangers
