KOS MG is a subsidiary of the world leading supplier of stainless steel wire – KOSWIRE Group – and specialized in industrial machinery sales. GEA PHE Systems is the result of experience gained from 75 years in the development and manufacturing of plate heat exchangers.

Together – KOS MG and GEA PHE Systems have formed KOS-GEA Korea Ltd., thus combining strong local sales and engineering expertise with the unique German plate heat exchanger technology for the Korean market place.

KOS-GEA Korea Ltd. is chaired by Mr. J.Y. Yoon, a heat transfer specialist with decades of plate heat exchanger experience and supported by GEA PHE Systems Asia Pacific represented by Mr. Mik Hansen, whose heat transfer record in the Korean market goes back to the late nineties.

“The joint company is a natural result of three years successful corporation – and with the recent combination of three other major PHE suppliers under one holding, thus narrowing the actual supplier base – a welcomed alternative for high end plate heat exchanger solutions” says Mr. Mik Hansen, head of GEA PHE Systems Asia Pacific.

Mr. Yoon and Mr. Hansen express the strategic positioning of KOS-GEA Korea Ltd. as “Korean local expert presence offering German engineered products” to the various market sectors with special focus at Oil & Gas, Refrigeration, Chemical and Marine. The products are partly fabricated and assembled locally at the assembly and service facility in PyungTack city in Gyeonggi-do, while sales and engineering are managed out of the Seoul based office.
