A special forming gas that is input into the closed plate heat exchanger makes it possible to find even the smallest hairline crack in a very reliable and preventative leak test. This test procedure saves time and money because the plate heat exchanger does not have to be unscrewed, which greatly reduces the standstill time for the test.
