Material surcharge
A few words on the surcharge
Due to instabilities and increases in the raw material costs of stainless steel, GEA PHE Systems adds a percentage material surcharge to the selling price of all orders for brazed plate heat exchangers. This material surcharge is based on the published surcharges from Thyssen Krupp Nirosta. The table below shows the GEA PHE Systems material surcharge for all orders:
The material surcharge always applies for the current month. On the first day of the following month, the new material surcharge will come into effect for all orders for plate heat exchangers. The percentage rate is determined per order based on the first working day of the week of the confirmed delivery date.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, blanket orders are subject to the material surcharges at the time of the confirmed delivery date.
The table below shows GEA PHE Systems material surcharge percentage rates based on a range of possible 1.4404 stainless steel alloy surcharges, as published by Thyssen Krupp Nirosta.
