BPHE Regional Sales Manager - West Region

Summary Statement:

Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region.  Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district.  Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region’s sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Vice President, Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger Sales

 

Position Location:

California, Utah or Colorado

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with outsourced sales team of independent reps; training, motivating, and tracking progress.
  • Guide the partners through technical training, sales order and implementation process as well as manage the daily activities to support ongoing revenue.
  • Collaborate internally to identify proper product positioning, scripting, and product bundles; recommend changes as needed in order to optimize revenue.
  • Research, identify and cultivate potential channel partner opportunities. Develop proposals, account or market plans, and assess channel partner performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and deliver sales reports to include, but not limited to, forecasts, market traction, lead follow up.
  • Ensure efficient and timely communication with customers and partners relative to promotions, new products and services, and other marketing and sales activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at major end user events as well as to the channel partners.
  • Continually define competitive landscape and competitive initiatives                      

 

Position Requirements:

  • 7+ years of developing 2 tier channel partnerships with established distributors in heat transfer product sales.
  • 7+ years experience in selling and supporting sales of brazed plate, and/or gasket plate, and/or welded plate heat exchangers.
  • Experience in sales management roles in a small, medium and large OEM environment.
  • Experience in developing relationships within the following markets a plus: power, co-gen, chemical, petro-chemical, oil and gas, HVAC, refrigeration, sanitary food.
  • Fluent in EXCEL, SAP , FILEMAKER and Heat Exchanger Sizing programs
  • Key end-user sales experience. Will bring a “book of relationships” to the position.
  • Ability to learn and communicate sales strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, business writing and relationship building skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Extensive Travel    

 

Education/Skills/Abilities/Experience Required:

BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
